This is from the last Flex Insider:

FLEX-8000 Series We continue to tackle our significant backlog of FLEX-8000 radio shipments. In January, our focus will change for the first few weeks of the month to integrate our M model customers into the mix of shipments. Currently, due to our existing backlog, new orders may not ship until April 2025. Please note that this date is subject to change, and we are working hard to reduce the delivery time.

Thanks Ron. From the email from Matt Youngblood back a few weeks ago and this info from the insider, I assumed that they did ship some of the Models in Dec. not many but some. I got the indication that they have some of the M models ready to go out but have not shipped them. They are building the radios as the boards come in. I may be all wet in my thinking. Was hopeful that they would start to ship them.

I traded my 6600M in on a 8400M Arnold. Been """"flex less""""" for a while. Mike VA3MW said it would be SOON.

I'm starting to feel forgotten. No matter what the truth is, not knowing, and not responding is hurting. I like Flex. I don't like silence.

Good morning Tom. Don't think they have forgotten us, but I am guessing They are still having problems getting the boards from the supplier. but a little more precise time frame would be nice, if they have that info. I love my Flex radios that I have had. i.e. 6400M, 6600M, and now a 8400M.

Thanks John. And nice to hear from Mike ("soon"). Like you, I've sent in my 6700 so I'm flexless too. But getting no response for over a week after paying? I can sympathsize with all hands busy getting the orders processed. A weekly broadcast to the list would be a lot better than silence.

I still have to make the final payment on mine Tom. you will probably get yours before mine gets sent. I agree. Maybe a weekly progress report. Would help us folks out here that are still waiting.

John - for the moment I'm giving Flex the benifit of the doubt. I'll keep you posted on my process. Fingers crossed that I'll hear something soon.

Good morning Tom. I will do the same. I think I will just let it go. I posted a rant on Facebook and i shouldn't have. I also understand that the board manufacture folks have flex in a bind. Maybe things will start moving soon. I'll keep you posted as well.

Got a response today from my latest inquiry that indeed everyone is very busy and that there are just a few parts vendors that are late. Referred to as a "small parts problem". He assured "shouldn't be much longer now".
