Can I use my laptop plugged directly into my FLEX 6600M and operate the radio?

I am trying to operate my FLEX 6600M directly from my laptop without using my LAN or remotely. I have a CAT 6 cable plugged in to the back of my radio and the other end plugged into my laptop. Do I use SmartControl or what? Any help? Thanks, Bob

    Yes, via ethernet. Using SmartSDR.

Yes, but you won't be able to use the radio remotely at all.

If you do this, you'll need to turn off the radio and computer, cable them and then power up both. You should then see the radio in the radio chooser.
