Back when I had a 6700 New main versions of SSDR cost ($200 I think) while maintenance releases were free. Is this the same policy for the new 8000 series?

    In the past I remember Flex grandfathered new owners who bought just prior to the next major release.
    If you want to take advantage of a sale but are leery of the $200 upgrade fee for version 4 then call Flex Sales and just ask them about it. They may elect to waive the upgrade fee since we are (hopefully) close to a new major release.

    Maintenance upgrades are free on Version 3 and we have the most current V2 and V1 posted on the website.

    They don't ever expire so you do not need to upgrade if you don't wish to but we do highly recommend you run the highest dot release for your version.

    In 8 years here, I do not remember the upgrade fee ever being waived.
