Dear all, happy to say that today I received my Flexradio 8600 after selling my 6600 immedeatly after 8000 series was announced. Unfortunately no signature series (bottom).

Successfully imported my profiles & memories. Some minor issues with AGC/Pre-amp settings.

So far a great experience, you really feel the extra "horse power" of the new series. No stuttering or any other hick-ups. T/R delay is very good.

Perfect combo with my Maestro C which also is a big improvement.

GNSS locked after 5minutes with provided antenna just outside an EAST facing window. Freq Error: 230ppb currently. Nevertheless I am using GPSDO 10MHz input which als works great.

Thanks Flex for providing such a great experience, lookign forward to some software updates that were announced.

…it will be a great weekend!

230ppb is a VERY good number. And, who knows if your 10Mhz reference is that close.

That is the problem when you have 2 standards and they are different. Which one is correct and how do you know? LOL
