FR6400 & XVRT MENINA

Hello,
I've been working on hooking up the FR6400 and XVRT Menina for a while now. For those who don't know, Menina is an excellent transverter for 432 MHz, product S51RM, S53RM and S53WW. However, I ran into some problems with the configuration. I properly connected the transverter and FR6400, and also defined the RF Freq, IF Freq, which is at 21 MHz, and the appropriate power (Max power Dbm) in the SSDR program. But when I go with the transverter to TX, I get no power from it.
I tried changing the power from the Flex radio, as well as the power in the transverter itself, but nothing happens. Everything is normal on RX, but the power from XVRT is 0.
I also tried another Flexradio FR6600 but the story is the same.
Some time ago, when I had an FR 6700, which has XVRT in combination with this radio, everything worked normally.
But to be sure that the XVRT really works, I connected the XVRT to the TS-590 for reference, where it normally comes from a 50 W tranverter.
Does anyone here have a similar experience to advise me on how to get XVRT up and running.
Thank you for all the answers.

Hi Dare, do you have the PTT connected correctly?

For my 2 meter transverter, I use RCA TX2 for PTT, and for my 2 meter amp, I use RCA TX3 for PTT.

    Greetings.
I use RCA TX3 for TX. XVRT goes to broadcast but there is no power output.

Hi Dare, Are you sure that the IF is 21 MHz and not 28 MHz?

If the IF is OK, can you measure the output of your XVTR port on your radio? When my 6400 was new, I had a problem with my XVTR port not putting out much of a signal.

Yes, the input for said transverter is at 21 MHz. What did you do to get enough signal from the XVRT port?

I submitted a help desk ticket. Flex determined that there was a problem with the XVTR board and fixed it under warranty.

    Dare

Can you post screen shots from SSDR and from your XVTR setup screen please.

    thanks

    Hello,

I tried with two other transverters, but even on these two, no power comes out of the transverter. It is always zero. I also tried on the FR 6600, where I also get no power from the transverter.

    A few more tests.

    • when you go into TX, does the XVTR go into TX?

And, if so, then the big question is are you getting +10dbm output from the XVTR port at 21Mhz? You'll need a Spectrum Analyzer to measure that.

    HI,

TX works normally. When Flex goes to TX, so does XVRT.
I tried two more transverters today, but no power is coming out of them either. But it is also interesting that I also connected these transverters to the FR 6600 and here too there is no output power from the transverter. But I have arranged with a friend to bring him the FR6400 to test it on the Spectrum Analyzer.
