Shutdown Flexradio

Hello. Can I shutdown Flexradio 6400 suddenly, simply cutting power?
Would it be possible to damage it?

Thanks.

Yes, you can, but it is recommended to use the REM ON connector to cleanly shut it down.

Leaving it in that state is no different to turning off a PC or a Television.

Mike, I don't believe he is taking about just powering off the radio from the power button or the rear connector.

    Carsco ,

Suddenly turning off DC power ( not talking about the power button on the radio) can cause unpredictable problems as the radio saves different settings from your current session before it actually turns off the radio. You can turn off the radio from the power button or the connector on the rear of the radio ( remote switch) then wait a minute or so for the radio to actually save settings, then remove DC power without risking corruption of the SD card.
