SLICE MASTER for Maestro <> HRD

Referring to "How do I track Maestro in HRD" by VA3MW

Using a 6400, Maestro C, Ham Radio Deluxe, wsjt-x and much more. I'm operating remote and I do have a PC at home QTH and another PC at my remote QTH by the radios.

Everything is working fine except the Maestro doesn't track the HRD. I manually have to do the logging into the HRD Logbook.

Planning to do what VA3MW recommends, installing the Slice Master for Maestro <> HRD tracing.

BUT I'm wondering if it will work when running remote on 2 separate networks? The Maestro and 6400 will always be on separate networks.

I prefer all the software to be on my home PC. SSDR is loaded on both PC's. To control rotor, tuner etc, I'm using Chrome Remote Desktop.

I better ask for professional help rather than spending a lot of time for nothing. Thank you for support! 👍️

I am not in front of a computer, but you need to 'connect' the HRD logbook to SM. This is usually on port 7809.

If both HRD Logbook and SM are on the same computer, use the ip address of 127.0.0.1 and port 7809. Then in SM, you need to click it on.

And, yes, this will work on 2 different networks. On HRD Log, instead of 127.0.0.1 you need to use the IP address of the SliceMaster computer.
