I have the Flex 6400 with the Extended Transmit Module for MARS operation. Will this work with module work with the new 8000 series of radios? Thanks.

I cannot answer if the module will be plug in compatible with new hardware but you will need a new TURF file for the new radio.

Also more importantly, you should request a region locked TURF for the 6400 before selling it.

Note, and just a reminder, Flex will only sell an extended TX module if the person requesting it provides a copy of their MARS/SHARES license.

Thanks for the reply, but I was hoping Flex would chime in and give me the answer.

Yes, you can use the same Extended TX module. You will need to reapply for a new TURF file.
