How to enable keying ?

I am a bit puzzled with Maestro C right now .The problem is that I am not able to get keyer to transmit.

1. I plugged the paddle into Maestro C paddleh port
2. Changed mode to CW
3. I checked that slice A has TX activated
3. tried the paddles - I can hear the sidetone but NO TX

Have gone through all the menus (i think) but still not able to enable transmit on cw. Phone works ok.

What am I doing wrong ?

    Do you have Breakin enabled?

At the top of the flag, do you have a red square with white "TX" visible? You must have this in order to transmit - it means that TX (transmit) is enabled for the slice you're using. I have - somehow - managed to turn my TX off and spent a few moments having to look over and figure out why 😚

I would submit a help desk ticket.

Rebooted the Flex then works again. Doesn't promise good for my future with this radio though... Can't be booting the unit during the contests

It sounds like rebooting cleared a setting. We always want to learn why it wasn't working, so if it happens again, post a screen shot and we will see if there was a setting that was missed.

The 2 main reason are that BreakIn was off and there was no transmit focus.
