What are the time frames for the 8000 Series radios to begin being delivered?

    As of this morning, the plan is to start shipping near the end of August and then work through the back order/dealer order list.

    It is a FIFO, so new orders get added to the end of the list.

    Well, the FlexRadio website says August and the FlexRadio staff at the Dayton Hamvention said August. Have you heard any different?

    I heard August unless there are problems obtaining the parts required to build them.

    end of August???? That sounds a lot like September ugh At Dayton there was a suggestion in fact that they would actually ship even earlier. My hope is Flex under promises and over delivers.

    The 6400-6600 radios shipped over six months after their announcement at Dayton.

    Hey John, I got the same email on 7/3. Did you place your order during the morning they announced the 8000 series as I did? It could be first in first out.

    The delivery timing depends on the location as well as the courier company, for example, if the delivery of the product is within the United Kingdom or in Europe, you guys can even get your product on the same day as your order. I always prefer the courier company which uses the courier tracking system for the safety of your expensive products.

    I received an email from Flex today saying possible delivery around 7 October for the non Ms and about 3 weeks later for the Ms.

    Have not even received an email about mine lately, I have seen others with higher numbers being contacted and finalizing their orders. Not very excited, I feel like I was passed over.

    Glenn, Have you received your FULL price invoice yet? It comes 2-3 weeks before your Radio's supposed to ship, Mine is going on 3-4 Weeks now since I paid the full amount and still patiently waiting.

    So its Nov 18 and nadda yet. Not very impressed by the notifications from FLEX. Very disillusioned at this point. They really need to put out a numbered list of where they are at in a list and I guess perhaps base it off of the purchase number so people can not get irritated by the lack of info being released. I wonder just how many actually ordered 8000 series radios before I did. I guess everyone else as I still have not heard anything. Jan 1 is where I pull the plug.
