Amp Flex Rack Mount

The Flex Rack Mount seems like it is under built, not build quite strong enough for the weight of the amplifier. I had to put something to support the weight at the back of the plate to the top of my rack mount to help with the weight. It was pushing down and sitting on the 6600 mounted below the amp mount until I added the extra support.

Mount the heavy stuff on the bottom?

Not really a response or answer I like. So I have the radio at the bottom, then amplifier then tuner, cables all go up, then up and out of the house. Having them all crisscross is not the best option. I did get some cable and some turnbuckles to help stabilize the weight on the back. Seems to work, but makes zero sense.

sorry to hear it isn't living up to your expectations.

We have many users who had it installed without issue. You can always add a tray underneath it if you wish a bit more stability.

You could always add a washer or 2 to the upper bolts, behind the bracket, to pull it up a degree or 2.
