Another ham's Flex showing available in Smartlink

I sold my Maestro C . Now the new owner's Flex 6300 is showing as available to me when I log in to Smartlink . I suspect his Maestro is facilitating this . I changed my Smartlink password but his 6300 is still showing that it is available to me. I assume he will need to change something in his Maestro ?

    Andy,

That seems unusual. It is the radio that registers for SL not the Maestro. Does he have your 6300 ?

If so, You should have him unregister the radio . Alternately, you can change your SL credentials. The radio would still be registered but you would no longer see it.

Thanks Mike, I will pass this along to the ham who has the Maestro now.

Al, he owns a 6300, not me. He has just bought my Maestro .

It sounds like your SmartLink account may have still been logged into SmartLink and the new owner may have registered his radio with that account. De-registering the radio from the SmartLink account will likely solve the immediate issue of his 6300 showing up on your account, but make sure that he also logs out of your SmartLink account in Maestro as well to prevent this cycle from happening again.

(I see now that you have already changed your SmartLink password which should force the new owner to make his own SmartLink log in on the Maestro)
