Hello I ordered the Maestro C Y Cable Kit. I want to use the FHM-3 mic. The radio is in the HDST mode and I can see the level go up when talking. When I key the mic it does not go into transmit. I am missing something. Please help.

Thank You

    Check the following:

    • The RCA connector on the hand mic is connected via the adapter to the PTT plug on the Maestro
    • You have a TX Slice not selected (RED TX button)

I have the FMH-2 mic and can't get it to work with the Y-Cable on Maestro C. Is the FMH-3 the only flex mic that works with the Y-Cable?

We only tested with the FHM-3. I don't have a 2 to test with.

However, I think there is a slight cable difference between the 2 and the 3.

When using the FHM-3 and the Y cable:

    • M-HDST selected on the Maestro C
    • BIAS turned on in the Phone/CW settings
    • USB or LSB mode
    • TX DAX turned off

    The FMH-2 doesn't work with the y-cable.

Thanks. This is likely why it was not on the recommended Mic list.
