With the 6600 in diversity receive mode, does the RIT change the frequency of both VFOs?

When using the 6600 transceiver in diversity mode, does varying the RIT change the frequency of both receivers or just the main receiver?

    When in Diversity on a 6600 or a 6700, you can use RIT or XIT.

    RIT will move the Receivers in parallel and not split them.

    You can see here on the Maestro with RIT on, the Transmitter remains on the TX frequency and the Receiver which is using 2 antennas moves.

    If you need the receivers to be different, then do not use Diversity for this feature.

    If you have a 6600 or a 6700, this is an easy thing to test on your own.

    Thank you, Martin. Many other manufacturers don't get this right, making diversity mode rather useless if you use RIT in contests.

    Just for clarification, there is not a main receiver in the flex. For the 6600, there are 2 identical scu’s, each capable of providing 2 slices of frequency.

    That doesn't clarify anything. Regardless of the labels you use, with diversity mode there are two "receivers" and if you adjust the RIT control (or is that Slice IT control?) the signal you are listening to either changes in both those "receivers" or it doesn't.

    @Martin_G4ENZ

    For your picture, you are not in Diversity Mode. You have 2 slices on the same frequency, which is another valid setup.
