Standby Power Consumption

Hello, can anyone tell me how much power is consumed in standby (240 v mains)? I did a search for "what is the power consumption of a flex radio pgxl while in standby" and it produced no results in many locations. Thanks very much.

It has been a long time since I tested this, but I think it is about the same as a typical new television.

When you go into standby, the main power supplies are shut down and you are left with a small 28V power supply that is running the LAN card and a small power controller. It is about 15 watts or less, or about the same as Cell phone charger.

  • Perfect! Thanks for the response Mike, I appreciate it.
