I just noticed that when transmitting digital using the transverter on 630 meters, the front LED is Orange but when using CW it is Red. No problem, just wondering if that is correct?
Thanks

Hi Tom, that sounds right. From the FLEX-6400 / FLEX-6600 HARDWARE REFERENCE manual:

I never noticed my 6400 showing orange when transmitting on the transverter, so I tried it with the RF power turned down as well as with the transverter turned down to -10 dBm. It always shows red for me. Which FLex do you have that shows orange?

EDIT: Well, my 6400 DOES in fact show orange(ish) as opposed to bright red. I have a bit of male pattern red/green colorblindness, so I don't see subtle color differences very well. I never noticed the difference in color until tonight. I will say that I am wearing my grey shirt and my wife will correct me - it's blue!!

Yes. List of colors in Sec. 7.5 of the 6400M/6600M manual. I assume there is a similar section in the 6400/6600 reference manual.

It is the 6400, orange seems correct for the transverter in DIGU but nothing changed except mode from DIGU to CW and the led goes red, still transverter on 630.
    Just wondering.
    Thanks everyone.

The LED colour is not mode dependent at all. If you are seeing something different, please open a support ticket so we can track it.
