Is there a recommended startup sequence?

Is there a recommended loading start up sequence when using:

1) TGXL

2) PGXL

3) Smart SDR for Windows

4) Antenna Genius

5) FRstack

I suspect FRstack would be last but how about the others? I would image these apps do some kind of polling but is there a recommended sequence in starting these apps to ensure the most reliable connectivity?

Thanks,

While no official startup sequence, I found what works is

AG, TG XL, PG, radio, SmartSDR, then 3rd party apps.

TG XL needs tompull antenna config from AG, so I like to have AG running first. PG XL will establish comm to TG, then radio will connect to both PG XL, TG XL, and AG. While there is polling, it is easier if the Genius equipment is up before the radio connects.

Note on latest TG XL firmware in all Flex station. You do not enable OG XL integration, that is for OEM radios only.

If using TG 1.1.20 and @G 3.1.5/you enable AG and enter IP of AG.

If using TG 1.2.11 and AG 4.1.7 you enable AG and use the pull-down to select AG by serial number.

Dave and I disagree on this one in terms of startup.

The way the technology works is that the hardware broadcasts on the network that it is alive and well. On my remote station, I stop and start, reboot stuff all the time and in no particular order.

Keep in mind that I am a 'show me the facts' guy and prove it to me, so I would recommend you try both.

If it comes down that it has to be a specific order to work, this is a fault and needs to be resolved.
