loading profile into panadapter

Running 6400M ver 3.5.9. SSDR is not running on the PC.

I have two pan/slices running on the radio, one on 20m cw and one on 15m ssb. I see a spot for 15m cw that I would like to work. I make sure that slice b (the 15m slice) is the tx and active slice. Then I try to load a 15m cw profile into slice b.

What happens is that the profile gets loaded into slice a and slice b disappears.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is that the way it's supposed to work?

Is this a global profile or a tx profile?

Global profiles save the whole layout, you can't load a global profile into a slice. When you load another global profile it will load up what ever you had in slice A and B at the time you saved it (even if nothing was in slice B), not just the slice you would like to change..

I understand, thanks for the help. I did create a global profile with 20cw and 40cw, saved it and it loaded just fine. Now I know how to do it.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
