Flex6500 locks up if left running over night over LAN

I notice if I leave my 6500 running, but no client (SSDR 2.4.10) connected, it usually refuse to show up after a few hours. The radio (and computer) is on a dedicated switch, and it does not matter if the PC is left on or off (I think I have seen this happen even if I leave SSDR running over night, but I usually shuts SSDR off when leaving the radio).
I can ping the radio but it will not respond to any other requests (connections), and it needs a long push on the ON/OFF button to start shutting down. No problem to restart and all is OK again until next time.
A bit time consuming to investigate, as it usually happens over night i.e. 8-10 hours. If I start SSDR after a few hours all seems to be OK, and can be repeated during the day. And yes I have a reason for running the ancient 2.4.10 i.e. CW

You might want to open a support ticket on this. I have a 6500 that has been on for about 4 months now.
I'm sure we can get this sorted out for you.

Mike, thanks for answering! Guess running 2.4.10 may cause issues for support :) Still odd that the radio just stops responding when no client has been attached over night. See if it happens tonight, and then I'll open a ticket.

Make sure you don't have a Network Switch connected that has some power saving feature (Green they call it).
A simple test would be to try this. If it disappears again, just unplug and replug the lan cable to the radio. See if that changes the result.

No power saving going on :) It worked nice this morning after beeing left on over night!! But then refused to be able to connect to after lunch, trying to bag VK9LAA, go figure!
Did the unplug/plug tingy a few days ago, and it did zero, the radio was not coming back. And remember when the radio behaves like this, I still can ping and get an answer, but that is just about all! Radio needs a long push on the ON/OFF to switch off, that feels like an firmware issue to me at least :)
