PTT (with foot switch) not working on a 6500

I use the FLEX 6500 with a USB microphone. When I press the MOX or VOX button, the transceiver switches to transmit mode, and everything works fine. However, when I press the foot switch, the transceiver switches to TX mode, but there is no actual transmission. I've tried doing a RESET and even upgraded SMARTSDR to 3.4.24, but it didn't help. Can you suggest what I can do to fix this issue?

    This is working as designed.

    When you use a Foot switch plugged into the back of the radio, the Mic must be connected to the radio.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
