A view of my remote station control screen

I thought I'd share the current state of the control screen for my remote station. The core of the remote station is Home Assistant and the UI is built using HA's built-in UI components. As you can see, it's fairly minimalist. I've resisted the urge to pile all sorts of sensors and controls. All the user needs to do most of the time is tap two buttons: "Radio Control" and "Windows PC" (if they are proposing to use digital modes).

You can find more about my remote station on my blog at https://garethhowell.com/wp/blog/

    Nice work.

And, I agree about keeping it clean and "less is more". I've been cleaning up my NodeRed screen to just that point. I still have all the 'other stuff', but I've moved them to another tabs that I call up when required.

    Me too, Mike.

As you can see, there are other tabs with loads of propogation information and the current system state. Also, being Home Assistant, there are more screens accessible via the left hand menu to administer Home Assistant itself.

  • hello how did you integrate the external propagation link?
