Firmware Upgrade Sequence

I have a remote station so I haven’t kept up with the new firmware upgrades available for the 6400, the PGXL and the TGXL.

What is the recommended sequence of upgrading these devices?

If you have a PC at the remote end that you can connect to, you can upgrade all devices.

For the Radio, download the latest SmartSDR and install it on your PC. It will then walk you through the steps. If you are at V2 going to V3 you will need to pay $199 for an upgrade.

For the PGXL and TGXL, the steps are similar. Download the latest version and install it. The manual for both devices outlines the steps.

It doesn't matter. You can do them in any order as the updates generally do not interact.

My radio is version 3.33 so I’m not that far behind. What I meant by my question is which of the three devices should I upgrade first and etc.?

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
