ICOM SM-30 work on a Flex 6400M

I would like to know if my ICOM SM-30 microphone will work on my Flex 6400M? I have the cable with the 3.5 plug and RCA plugs and 8 pin foster. Thanks, Bob

    I 'should' work.

    You will have to make your own adapter cable so that the PTT signal goes to the RCA connector and that the Mic Audio and Mic Ground go to the correct pins on the Mic input.

    After you get that done, you can test the Mic input first with the Mic bias off and then on.

    If you have a look at the schematic for the SM-30, you should be able to figure it out.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
