You can purchase the Flex USB to Serial adapter:
https://www.flexradio.com/products/usb-to-serial-adapter-for-the-flex-6000-series/
or this Serial adapter from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DT6K8G2
You'll also need a null modem adapter, male-to-female:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000067RW2
Lastly, this cable from DXEngineering:
https://www.dxengineering.com/parts/DXE-ACOMSS-KWD
On the Flex, set the USB cable for-
Name: Your choice. I used ACOM 700S
Change: CAT
Source: TX Slice
Auto report: I left mine set to "disabled"
Speed: 57600
Data Bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop Bits: 1
Flow Control: None
On the ACOM under CAT Settings-
Interface: RS232
Command Set: 5
Baud Rate: 57600
Byte Spacing: 0
Polling Time: 300

There is another way to connect the ACOM SS PA series (600, 700, 1200) which have a single CAT port. Using the SDC software (freeware) you can band control the PA through a serial port connected to PC. The software uses Flexradio API and TCI so, like in my case, I can control the PA without plugging and unplugging the serial on the back when I switch from Flex to Sun and viceversa.0

Good afternoon all. Taking from the previus messages I would like to as for advise.
I use my 6400 with the Acom 600S just fine, with a custom cable, but now I´ve incorporated a TGXL to the set up and obviously will need to make the connections to do so. Anyone using Flex and Acom also uses the TGXL that can give me some directions?
Thanks
73, Santiago
