? Maestro VFO/volume knobs latency

I have an older (type A?) Maestro hooked directly to a new 6400 via Ethernet cable (no Wi-Fi or router involved) running the latest software version and find that turning the VFO or volume knobs doesn't result in any change in freq. or volume out of the speaker for around 400 msec (very annoying), even though the display readout changes immediately. I've tried older software versions, and connecting through a router, same result. Is this a Maestro problem, any suggestions? I have a message in to the Flex Help Desk, but that may take a while.

After reading some other posts, I've solved my problem by connecting my speakers to the 6400 rather than the Maestro. Apparently the signal processing (? Windows 10) in the Maestro was causing the delay. Thx anyway!

Your Maestro may need a trip to the Spa. I still use my Maestro A and I don't see those issues.

You may want to open a support ticket. 73
