3 minutes in the event of malfunction in the control link transmission limit.

Is there a method to meet the 3 minute rule requirement when operating Telecommand?

I am not sure what the rule is.

However, you can set a transmit time out timer. We call it PTT Timeout.

It is outlined in section 33.6 of the SmartSDR UserGuide.

Thanks Mike. Sorry for the newbie question. The FCC requires that if your running remote and you lose control that the radio can stop transmitting after 3 minutes. I'll give the PTT timeout a try.
    Thanks again.

    Here you go

This means the radio will drop out of TX after the time you enter here. Regardless of a remote connection or not. So, if you are long-winded rag chews, your radio my decide you have been talking too long. :)
