Logging with Maestro

I thought that connecting the computer to a Maestro for logging was going to be some sort of Multiflex magic. So I set about trying it out tonight - set aside a couple hours.. Turns out to be so simple that I just did it. Couldn't be easier. Use Dax solo on the computer and boom - got it.😀

DAX for logging? Can you explain?

CAT, not DAX. My acronym inaccuracy syndrome was in action at posting time!

You are not giving enough information on what you are trying to do...give us a little more to work with...

He already did it, he commented it was easier than he expected.

    Install SmartSDR on PC.

Set up CAT and DAX (DAX for digital modes) on PC with logging software and any digital software. Then select Maestro in CAT and DAX. You do not need to run the SmartSDR main program.

Yes, pretty simple. It looks like this:

Logging Program <RS232 Kenwood CAT Port> SmartSDR CAT on same computer <--> Radio
