This may be old news but its worth sharing,

I was able to solve my DAX (WSJT-X) corruption issue today. It was a DPC issue caused by the the Dell Data Vault Driver that is installed with the Dell Support Assist App. Totally solved my issue after uninstalling Dell Support Assist.

Latencymon app helped trace the problem.

Dell XPS 8930

    Thanks Larry,
My computer has been unusable for the last 2 years until I read your solution about uninstalling Dell Support Assist. I did just that and I now have a fully functional computer. Thanks and 73

I Third that motion! :-) There's another, very similar thread here about DAX and Dell with my journey. I've found the same thing — that removing Dell Support Assist solves a bunch of 'instability' issues. In my case, it was sudden, random 'freezes' of the computer.
