Can someone tell me or point me to a document that explains the physical size of a Maestro control head?

Yes, I searched in the user guide.

TIA

From the Maestro spec sheet on the flex site. The 1.75 inch depth appears to not include the knobs. The depth including knobs is about 3 inches.
