Set-up for SSB-Phone configuration over LAN ?

Can someone point me to a link containing a description of set-up procedure for using a microphone when connected via LAN using a laptop ? I tried, simply using the laptop internal mic, just to test the set-up. I am getting no indication of any PTT or RF being generated (I tried MOX) . I assume I need to set it up more precisely but was not able to find instructions in the user guide. I see mention here in the Community that a simple mic works, so it seems it is possible.

I think I poked around enough to get it set up, although it would be useful to see some documentation. I now have PTT and some RF indication on the meters . I'll borrow my son's Yeti mic and try that instead of the internal mic
