Need FLDIGI help
I have Fldigi (4.1.20) working fine with SmartSDR (3.2.39), latest XML file and rigcat except for one nagging issue. Every time I execute a macro after ptt the Flex transmits a 1-2 sec mark tone and then starts macro audio.
Here is an example of the macro code
<TX><CALL> <XOUT> <XOUT> <RX>

Have you considered using FLRig with FLDigi?
It has been a while since I have used FLDigi, but I think I recorded it here: https://youtu.be/G9iDbcD-QgQ
See if there are any items in that video that might help you out.

SOLVED
Not very satisfying but....done
Another computer to the same Flex 6600 did NOT have issue. Completely uninstalled Fldigi and reinstalled....Issue GONE Don't know cause. Strange that everything worked fine except for that initial 1-2 sec mark tone on transmit.
Watched that video before. Good video but no help.
