Distorted playback of recording on-air

Hi everyone.
In need of some guidance and/or assistance.

Am using SDR Windows to "Quick Record" audio (on a FLEX-6400)
"Quick Playback" of the audio on the local PC is clear.

However, when playing said recording on air, the receiving party hears a lot of crackling/distortion (which doesn't happen during normal conversation).

Current solution is to restart the computer and radio, after which playback of recording on-air is clear but only for one tor two instances, then reverts back to distorted playback on air.

Any input or ideas would be much appreciated.

You might have to reset your radio. If that doesn't work, please open a support ticket.

Flex-6400, and Smart SDR 3.3.33 and other previous ones the problem is the same.

When playing back recorded audio it is extremely distorted. The transmission volume is too high.

Reboots of both computer and or radio do not resolve the problem, and if your listening locally it sounds fine, but over the air playback is extremely poor.

On other computers the same happens, even the software installed for the 1st time.

Nothing like when has been recorded. Uninstalling and re installing DAX driver’s dose not resolve issue either.

The Audio is recorded on the actual radio and played back on the radio. It does not use DAX at all or the PC at all.

This is why rebooting your computer or DAX changes are not resolving your issue.
