Software to PTT multiFlex radio

Options

Hi,

we use multiFlex in the shack during contests in a simple in-band setup. Operators sit next to each other and can work on the same band with same antenna (one calls CQ, the other can find callers)...

The main run station has a footswitch, but the radio only accepts a single footswitch. We do have a second footswitch but need some advise how to connect it.

We are looking for a simple solution, even pure software solution is welcome. Needed for this week's CQWW SSB.

Thanks and 73

A wye cable with both foot switches in parallel. Or a foot switch and the ptt switch.

If you are using MultiFlex, then the 2nd footswitch should go on the 2nd client that I assume has the 2nd headset set to it.

You can hook up a footswitch to that client (PC? Maestro?). If a PC you can use the feature in FRStack for the 2nd foot switch by using a physical USB/ RS232 port. I think this is the schematic I use for FRStack and also SmartSDR for MAC.
