6400M Display Mute

Hi,
I am a new owner of a 6400M. Loving this radio. One thing I would really like is a
way to mute the video display. a good friend has a new Icom IC7610. After X minutes of
no use the display goes black. Since my 6400M is on all day, I would love a simple way
to mute the display and make it black. Seems like a waste to have it on all the time the radio is powered on, Seems like a waste of the display and power used.
Any thoughts,
Craig

This is a feature that has been requested by a few already.
Currently, there is no way to turn off the display. You can run at minimum backlighting if you wish.
