Tuner Genius Frequency detection

So I have a deposit in. I just want to be sure I’m ok when I do get it. I need to know precisely how it detects the frequency coming in??? Does it have a frequency counter? Does it get the data from the PGXL which does have a frequency counter??

thanks

Peter

It can do it in several ways.

It can do RF detection for band changing and it does it very fast.

If you are on a full Flex station, then you just connect a LAN cable to the TGXL and it shares information over your network.

Very simple. As an example, this is a full wiring diagram for a complete SO2R station.

That's the hot ticket right there for SO2R. I won't be getting the PGXL, but the TGXL and, the AG a definite maybe!

Ok excellent. So long as it has a frequency counter I’m golden. I hope the ability to reliably talk to Icom radios is enhanced. Couldn’t be happier with my PGXL
