system : flex 6300, Maestro, and win8 desktop.

Have been using above setup for some time now running WSjT-X mmsstv and mmrtty with no problem.

WSJT-x uses TCP 6000. MMsstv and mmrtty use com 4 & 5. Today CAT only recognizes com 116

and TCP 6000. WSJT_X works properly other programs do not.

Under Devices com 4 & 5 are listed along with a lot of other com ports.

Win 10 laptop all com ports show in CAT and programs work properly.

Any suggestions?

Can you post a picture of your Com ports in Device Manager and SmartSDR CAT? It is possible they changed and if they changed then you will need to adjust WSJTx to match.

Any port greater than 100 is reserved for SmartSDRs use as part of the VSP, so you can ignore them.

Or, you can use SliceMaster to configure things for you.

An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu.
