5000A No Transmit audio and power output on SSB

The legacy radios, Flex 3000 / 5000 are designed to have the Mic audio directly connected to the radio, not through the computer to the radio.. It can be rigged to accept audio by using the VAC button, if you have the mic connected through your "Windows default device" for input audio. You could physically connect your sound card , line out to your mic input, or use the ACC connector, line input . Otherwise just use the balanced input on the rear of the radio..

Thanks Dudley... To clarify, I am using only the Flex supplied Mic. I have all of the recommended settings on the computer (WIN 7) and I am seeing my audio on the panadapter and all meters. When speaking into the Mic, and in monitor mode, TX audio is distorted and weak whether on SSB or AM. I am seeing full power carrier on AM without audio. Thanks again Dudley and is there anybody else with an idea.0

PowerSDR has a plethora of Audio settings that you can adjust, here how to CORRECTLY set the audio up so you may want to look for that here, https://helpdesk.flexradio.com/hc/en-us/articles/202118248-TX-Audio-Setup-Procedure-by-W1AEX-Rob .
Over driving ANY section of all the adjustments will cause distortion, I would check the Leveler that always caused distortion on my voice, I also had to drop 1K on the TX Equalizer or I would sound nasally.

I'm having the same problem with my Flex 5000A. Low to no output with SSB, mic connected directly to the radio, tried two mic's. Speaking into the mic gives me just a few watts.
Transmits CW and transmits a carrier and sidebands in AM and a carrier in FM.
Did a factory defaults reset and did the self tests (Ctrl/Shift P). It failed the RX filter and TX filter tests initially, but then the TX filter fixed itself.0 -
Marco, did you resolve this issue? I have the same problem in my new 5000a. I have full output in TUN, but no power out in SSB, although the mic waveform looks good on the spectrum display.0
