How do I let a friend run my rig from 22 miles away?

I know it's with Multiflex. I upgraded the software yesterday. It's registered in Smartlink. We tried it with my login. No joy there. Next, I'll have him create his own login. What next?

Hi Ed, MultiFlex is just to allow two concurrent connections. It is SmartLink that gets him on remotely. It is your SmartLink login that needs to be used. I suspect that it is a port forwarding issue. Have you ever been able to log on remotely? If not, this is where I would start. I think there are some helpful threads in the forum regarding port forwarding.

I haven't yet, but my buddy over in Danville WA9EIC haven't been able to get together on it either. I'm going over there tomorrow. I will try from there. Though I won't be there long. I'll give you a call when and if I need the help. Thanks for the offer. I may need it.
