6600M: USB A- to USB-A null modem cable not getting recognised

I bought a few FTDI null modem cables USB-A to USB-A to connect my Flex 6600M to a RF-2k amplifier. The Flexradio does not recognize the USB cable and consequently doesn't offer a window with settings.

Any ideas how to get this working?

thanks in advance

I have been using the following usb cable since I built my RF 2K with the Flex 6600M and it almost installed itself automatically.
Is your cable a NULL Modem type?

    FTDI USB-NMC-2.5M , CABLE, ASSEMBLY; NULL MODEM; USB-A TO USB-A; 2.5M

Once installed it should show up on the " USB Cables " window where you can click " Enabled ".
Hope you find your issue as the CAT works great with the RF 2KAmp.
