    Hi Lee

    This video should help.

If fact, we have a bunch of videos here if you wish to have a look.

To be clear, you want to Update the current version of SSDR - get the latest version of SSDR 1.n, 2.n, or 3.n, not upgrade from SSDR 1.n or 2.n to SSDR 3.n, correct? The former was explained by previous responses, the latter involves a purchase of an upgrade SSDR license.

    Hi Ken

Can you rephrase that?  I'm not sure what you are asking.

I think the answer is you should run the latest, 2.6 or 3.18.  Some people are at 2.4.9 due to profiles being handled differently.

You may have to buy a license to go from 2-3 if you are not already authorized for it.

Mike, I'm asking if Lee wants to update or upgrade SSDR, update is free, upgrade likely incurs a one-time license fee. I'm happily running 2.5.1, no issue on my end.

Maybe to simplicate a little. Any version of SSDR can be downloaded to a PC. If the desire to then have the PC actually talk to the radio, then the radio must also be updated to the same version. If the version on the PC is a major release (3.xx) and the version in the radio is older (v 1.xx or 2.xx) there may be a fee involved to use the later version.
