extension cable for 6700 RMH-1 mic

I need to extend the microphone that came with the 6700 by about 15ft. It is RHM-1 microphone. where can I get an extension cable?

    does the RMH-1 have an 8 pin connector?

    James, you probably have the one with thee rj45 connector. this simpliifies things, you can buy an ethernet extension cable (with a female rj45 connector n one eed and a male rj45 on the other.

    Doesn’t the 6700 only have a Yaesu-style 8-pin on the front, where the hand mic would connect? The modular at the mic head is RJ45 based with extra mechanical features to stabilize that connection. If you are okay with the mic head a bit less supported and finished the Amazon cable would work great. Otherwise it is a eight-pin extension cable.     Boy are you correct! My bad!  I personally use the balance connector on the back of the radio and you can get cables for that at very long lengths quite cheaply (but will not work with the FMH-1 mic!)

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph.
