Challenges with Mic/Audio on Maestro

I am facing challenges with the Mic setup on Maestro. I have been using a Heil Pro-set Plus headset for the last 2 weeks without any problem. Suddenly it stopped working and not able to get Audio through. I have tried multiple profiles with luck. The best I could achieve is a low audio out with noise and the noise level through the Mic goes up when the adapter is plugged in.  On the other hand SmartSDR is working fine.  Appreciate any help or guidance. 73 de Hani / OD5TE

    Hi Hani

Is there any chance the Mic connector on the Proset (the 1/8" mono connector) is broken?  I have had 3 Heil headset cords fail on my ProSet.  In fact, before I switched over to RadioSport, I had a stock of Heil ProSet cables since the Mic one kept breaking.

Can you test the Mic on another radio at all or with an Ohm meter just so we can make sure the Mic isn't the issue?

Thank you Mike. Proset is working fine. Some settings get messed up in the radio configurations.
