Lost SDR software due to hardware failure

The hard drive on my computer failed.  I was currently running v2.4.9 of the SDR software.  I planned to upgrade to the latest version now that it is out.  When I get my new computer, do I need to install v2.4.9 first and then install the new version 3?  Or should I just buy the new version and install it?

Pat, if you'd like to upgrade to v3, simply download and install the latest v3 software.  No need to install v2.4.9.

That is what I thought, but I wasn't sure. Thanks for the quick reply.

    Hi Pat

Sorry to hear that about your computer.  Abed is 100% correct (as always).  You an also run 2.4.9 at some point later by installed in.  There is no need to uninstall 3 to run 2 (or the other way around).  You can have multiple versions on your computer.

    Good luck.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
