Flex 6600 USB to Elecraft KPA500 RS232

Hello I have a Flex 6600 and also an Elecraft KPA500 so far I had use it manually band switch via RCA PA Key.

I notice the Flex 6600 has a couple of USB ports under the LAN port.
And my KPA500 has no USB but it does has RS232 PC / RS232 XCVR / AUX3 ports.

Can I connect my Flex 6600 from one of those USB to one of the RS232 on the KPA500 to have auto band switching ?

Thank You, 73.

Yes, go to the main Flex page to suppprt then search for USB and look for “SmartSDR USB Cable Interface Guide” all is explained there.

As was indicated, I use the USB/RS232 solution on the back of the radio.  It works seamlessly.

The instructions are in the USB document as outlined above.  Very easy to do.
