Which delay to use so Flex and AMP has time to follow band switch?

Sporadically, I get errors from my solid state amp (RFKIT) that I am on the wrong band. I believe its a timing issue. It could be the radio or SmartSDR is doing something else that needs to be finished...
My setup:
N1MM+ --SmartCAT/OTRSP CAT--> 6600M --USB--> Amp.
I see a few options: 1) N1MM CAT port PTT delay, 2) N1MM SO2R switch delay, or 3) Flex TX delay. Currently I use these values for these 3 options: 10ms/30ms/10ms.
Suggestions?

I use a FTDI USB Null Modem cable between my 6600 and RF-Kit B26 amp. I only lose frequency data when I mess up. The amp follows TX frequency data. Sometimes I don't have TX selected.

The Flex itself only requires a few Milliseconds, with most SS Amp's I have used requires 20ms or less on RCA TX if yours takes longer it may be your AMP or N1MM syncing.

Hi Andy
On my B26, I see it often fail over to Universal frequency control, and, since it doesn't seem to mind, I leave it there until I set the CAT back to the radio. I do run TXD at 20ms which is appended on to the longest of TX1 2 or 3.
