Hello

been asked from a friend - a flexer:

is there a way to use the Acom 2000A for remote operation without any PC at remote side?

He using SSDR-IOS and a F6. Switching Power ON is not the problem but - remote switching from STANDBY to OPERATE after Power ON

Recommend the RemoteRig RC-1216H, which I use with my Elecraft KPA500. RC-1216H works with the ACOM 200A amplifier. I also use the RIGrunner 4005i to control power to my Flex 6700. They both provide a nice web interface independent of a separate PC.

I use the RC-1216H to control power to station and also rotor control.

If the amplifier is always in operate, then you can turn TX1 on or off right from a Maestro or SmartSDR.  The, the Amp will not go into TX unless you have the TX line enabled.

Mike i not know the Amp exactly. Operate/Standby is a switch or a push button?

The US guy who ask me is a bit over 80 years old and i would help him to have more fun with his F6
