How do I send band data to an Ameritron RCS-12

When I bought my 6600 I also ordered a FTDI Chip cable that was suppoed to output BCD band data. Part number C232HM to MPSSE Serial cable. I plugged the USB end into the 6600, I wired the GPiO; 0, 1, 2, 3, Vcc, GND to some LEDs. All GPiO are logic zero on all bands except for 20m where all outputs are logic One. How can send band data from my 6600 to the Ameritron RCS-12? The RCS-12 manual only illustrates Yaesu, Kenwood, and Icom. Yaesu does it thru BCD. I am sending band data to my amp via a USB-Null modem- USB Cable. The amp is looking for band data from a Kenwood TS-50. So the Flex looks like a Kenwood.

I believe that is the wrong cable. You want the C232HM-EDHSL-0 USB to bit cable. https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/FTDI/C232HM-EDHSL-0/?qs=EB8w3yL7SqPZGmdI8JhrMA==&gclid=CjwKCAiAz7TfBRAKEiwAz8fKOMNLsLfOa9RmjYXNmqFtOZlhGnbFCCjtmOcbcQXdWSdiePZ0_GB8UhoCpWsQAvD_BwE Or an easier solution is what I use. The SainSmart USB-8 board which I use to drive a W2IHY 1x4 antenna switch. https://www.amazon.com/SainSmart-Eight-Channel-Relay-Automation/dp/B0093Y89DE It can be driven by the Flex Or DDUtil. Thank you so much for your answer. I ordered both.
Can I call you if I have questions?

Yes. Email me at Wo2x at ARRL dot net and I’ll pass along my number. The USB-8 might be the easiest solution of the two. Dave wo2x0

I use Flex 6500 with Ameritron RCS-12.
The correct cable to have Yaesu BCD information is the "C232HM-EDHSL-0 USB".
I ordered it from Mouser and everything worked flawlessly.
