Hello, in a few hours I'm planning to take part on the third public test of FT8 DXpedition mode, on my new Flex 6600 do you have to have panadapter A and B to run split or just FakeIt as the settings on WSJT-X ?

What should be best setup for this test ?

"Fake it" works fine, and is recommended by many.

Use the WSJT-X software to do split.

Get the document that JT has on his site.  FYI...  He recommends or tells you to set to "Fake It".  Good Luck!

I should have been a bit more verbose in my response - split also works, BUT you lose a slice for the split. If you don't mind that, you can use it. Ted VE3TRQ

Thanks Ted, since the Flex can do that and perhaps more then why not and just go for the simple and Fake It !

W7/KH7Z 14.115 right now.  Just got him with the 6400/vertical.  This DXpedition mode is pretty cool.
