Slice receiver tracking

Have slice 1 using ant 1 for rcv and ant 2 for xmt and have slice 2 using ant 1 for rcv and ant 1 for xmt. Have slice 1 rcv in left ear and slice 2 rcv in right ear. Both slices on same frequency. Is there a way to make slice 2 freq follow slice 1 freq when i change slice 1 freq if so then all I have to do is press the tx button to choose which ant to xmt on without having to find the freq in slice 1 the have to press A>B to set slice 2 to the same freq then press TX on slice 2. Sure would make operating faster.

    Hi Wayne,

If you dont mind using a third party application to do this, Slice Master 6000 has you covered.  Just start it up and select the Sync tab then tell slice B to follow slice A.  If you also tell slice A to follow slice B, it wont matter which slice you use for tuning.  As a bonus, Slice Master will also keep your panadapter displays in sync, so changing the zoom on one will cause a corresponding change in the other.  Without  a third party application though, I think you are out of luck.

I don't know if this answers your question or not, but have you tried "diversity" reception with that combination?  I have not experimented with it at all yet.

Sorry - I picked up the 6600 from the community you posted it in.  Oops!
