Which type of router?  If it can't connect, then you may have something called AP Isolation turned on and that is blocking the communication from the radio to the Maestro.

The security has to match the settings on your AP.  Using WPA2 works and is highly recommended.  You may want to test by turning off all security on the the Access Point.

Do those first and let me know how you make out.

I resolved this late last night

I narrowed it down to the wifi not obtaining an IP address from the router

I was using WPA2 protocols but I there was a couple of minor settings of authentication types and I set these to auto and the Maestro now connects.

I ran the 5g wifi with no security first and the Maestro connected immediately - turning on security then allowed the Maestro to accept the password and away it went

This is unusual as its the first wifi device in a while I have had with these kind of problems

Sure would be nice to be able to set fixed IP's and see detailed wifi settings in the wifi screen

Other than that this thing is awesome!

I am not able to connect my new AX3000 ASUS wireless router to my Maestro. All my other devices in the house connected INSTANTLY so I don't understand why the Maestro is seeing weak wifi signals and not my much stronger 2.5 and 5GB signal. WPA2 security. I have V3.3.33 loaded on Maestro. In speed tests I am getting over 100MB down and 10MB up with 14mS latency. I believe this is suppose to be a gaming router, all I know is I have devices in the house that have been there for over 10 years including a XP PC that connected instantly.

Please help me resolve this connection issue or I will be forced to sell the Maestro.

If this is a new router, you may need to make sure it can support legacy wifi devices.

Also, do you have any 'special' characters in your SSID? Something like "Dennis's Wifi"?

Hello Mike, no special characters in SSID. The new router immediately connected to all my new and very old WiFi devices so I don't quite understand whats going on?

Mike, my Encryption type is"WPA2-Personal", is that different than WPA2?

    I am not sure.

It has to do with a mode in your WiFi modem on the router that is not the same as on the Maestro.

Please open a support ticket so they can sort it out for you.
